St. Paul Marathon, Aug. 21, 2005

If you still have not decided which marathon to skate this season, here is one I hightly recommend. The St. Paul marathon is in its second season, offering a closed, fast and undulating course along the Mississippi river. Darlene Prois captured the fabulous course with her lense.

Biloxi, MS, Sunday July 24th

Join the Final Stage of the 2005 USA Inline Racing Series.

The venue is only an hour from Pensacola. The races will feature a sprint and a distance race for the Age Divisions and a sprint, probably two distance (points/elem) races for World Class. Age Divisions are : 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49 & 50+

The third annual Big Apple Roll Weekend (BAR) is an exciting weekend of group skates, adventures exploring and experiencing New York City on skates. Party with old friends, make new ones, feel the rush of skating the New York City streets. Enjoy the city’s beautiful scenery, smooth pavement, rolling hills and fast straight-aways. Central Park is also the capital of dance skating where you can join the worlds greatest skate dancers for a truly unique experience.

A weekend to explore NY, party with friends, and feel the rush of NYC street skating.

MS Skate, Seattle, Sunday, July 31st

Hop onto your inlines or pull on your walking shoes and join in the fun on Sunday, July 31st, 2005! The Walk and Roll for MS is the premiere skating event in the northwest! You can either skate or walk to raise money for MSA, and either way you’ll start at 7:30am and be finished by noon. You can skate the full course of 25 miles from Redmond Town Center to Gas Works Park in Seattle via the Lake Sammamish and Burke Gilman Trails, or do the half skate starting at Kenmore’s Tracy Owen Station Park. The 4 mile roundtrip walk begins at Gas Works Park, follows the scenic Ship Canal two miles west and returns.

Visit Toronto for an exciting skating extravaganza. Distances include, 42km, 21km, 10km and 1500m. Races are held on a road loop and 200m track. Short races for kids! Nappa Valley, August 7, 2005

The name changed, but the place is the same. This promises to be the biggest Calistoga Roadskate ever. Roll along the Silverado Trail through the world famous Napa Wine Valley. The race course is totally closed to traffic for the event. The surface is freshly paved, black ice asphalt. The beginning and end is at the Silver Rose Winery in Calistoga.

Spokane Marathon, WA, Sunday Aug 28th

Welcome to the 2nd annual Spokane Centennial Trail Skate Marathon and 10k. Whether you skate for recreation, fitness or to race, this is an event you'll enjoy. The race/event begins at beautiful Mirabeau Park in the City of Spokane Valley and follows the scenic Centennial Trail bordering the Spokane River. The finish is at the Valley YMCA at Mirabeau.

Northshore Marathon, Duluth, Sept 14

Adrenaline will surge on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 7:30 a.m. as the gun signals the start of the largest inline marathon and World Cup event in the U.S.A.! Following the same scenic course Grandma's marathoners have run along for the past 26 years, 5,000 inline skaters will test their endurance in the 10th Annual NORTHSHORE INLINE MARATHON.
