Conclusion on Frame and Wheel Sizes 5/84s, 4/90s, 4/100s

By Conny Strub

In our March newsletter I wrote an article about frame and wheel size. There has been much debate since and well, the season is at the end and much information has poured in. People have gone from a 5/84mm to a 5/90mm, 4/90mm or a 4/100mm set-up, and swear that they skate faster. Across the board the evolution of the inline speed skating technology seems to be paying off for many. Vapor '06 and Vapor 3-Point System

strap, on custom boots only.

shootout will be Bont's introduction of the new
3-Point System and S-Frame:

But by the time the beer is brewed only a measly 2-5 grams of carbohydrates are left in a bottle of light beer and an average of 10-12 grams of carbohydrates in a regular Canadian bottle of beer. This paltry amount of carbohydrate doesn’t even come close to the 70-80 grams of carbohydrate the typical male endurance athlete needs in the first hour post workout to get a jump on refueling after a tough training session. This refueling is important as it gives you the energy to get through the next day’s training session feeling energetic and raring to go!

Electronic Training Partners

By Winson Chan

For a lot of skaters out there, one of the most frustrating aspects about training is the lack of a training partner or club. It’s hard to get motivated for a 2-hour solo skate, but many of us will eventually have to skate on our own. In these situations, electronic devices such as watch, a heart rate monitor, or a GPS can help motivate you, and improve the quality of your training session.
