The 26.2 mile event will wind through the streets of St. Paul and is expected to draw well over 2,500 participants. Inline Skating Wheels

Hi Conny,

A question has come up about inline wheels, and maybe you might want to print this for your readers.

I wanted to explain a little about the wheel differences. People don't realize that not only are there differences between each model and brand, but even each batch of wheels (from one pour to another), even within the same model and hardness. The question posed was "Do harder wheels last longer, or not as long as soft wheels?" The topic also questioned the differences between brands, and indoor wheels versus outdoor wheels. On we go:

Skating the Streets of China

China is a nowhere-land for inline skating – at least if you search on the English internet. I couldn’t google relevant information or email addresses whose owner would answer my questions about the hows and where-abouts of inline skating in China. Nevertheless, on two business trips to China – one to Shanghai in November 2003 with extra days to Hangzhou and Suzhou and one to Beijing in May 2004 - I filled half my suitcase with my skating gear.
