PLAYLAND IS TRANSFORMING INTO A CREEPY AMUSEMENT PARK FOR HALLOWEEN

by Amy Huang |

Spooky Halloween festivities are returning to Playland this year with ‘Hallowed Eves’ Nights. This year’s theme is described as having a “Caravan of Curiosities” rolling into town and taking over the entire park with firebreathers, contortionists, a resentful puppet, and other oddities.

While this year’s festivities won’t feature haunted houses due to COVID-19 safety protocols, it will offer nearly 20 rides, creepy décor, scary characters and live performances on select nights beginning October 8, 2021.

In addition, there will also be live fire and swordplay performances, stunts and circus arts, along with a ride side bar & patio.

Guests will have a selection of beverages to choose from including seasonal specials like spiked hot chocolate. Food will also be available from Triple O’s, and depending on the night: Buen Gusto Tacos & Totchos, Cheese Please, Coaster Dogs, and Pizza Pizza.

The park will be crawling with terrifying monsters, mutant carnivores and “re-animated dolls who have breached their usual cages”.

Advance tickets are available and proof of vaccine will be required for entry. It’s also important to note the Wooden Roller Coaster is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and will not be running this year.
