If you haven’t heard, Baja is the next hot destination for food and wine aficionados. As many of the roads are unpaved and wineries yet to be discovered by the masses, there’s serenity unlike any other wine region we’ve visited.

It’s A Bubble Hotel
A collection of 12 bubbles popped up in the vines, this eco-resort is all about allowing guests to feel fully immersed in the vineyard experience. Each bubble has a cozy full size bed with luxe linens, and there’s a private bathroom connected to the room. For guests traveling with a third amigo in tow, an upgrade to a bubble suite means an extra bed can be added. Fiesta, fiesta!
Full Gourmet Experience
With the surrounding vineyards producing white, red and rosé, wine tasting doesn’t get much more local than just a stroll outside your bubble. There’s also a gourmet bistro in the works at Campera, complementary to the many foodie centric spots of the area. We won’t tell anyone if you roll outta bed and head straight into wine tasting to kick off your bucket list worthy birthday. We can keep a secret.
Food and Wine in Baja
Wine, wine, wine! Take advantage of the incredible wineries of Guadalupe Valley with a drive down the Ruta del Vino. Hacienda La Lomita, Casa de Piedra and Viñas de Garza are just a few of the high-quality wine makers in Baja, but there are plenty more. Dunno about your birthday bash bucket list, but ours definitely includes a Sideways-inspired wine region road trip. Where better to kick it off than Mexico? Arriba!
