The Vancouver Pride Run and Walk will be kicking off Vancouver’s Pride Season again this summer, on July 19th. Last year, we raised nearly $18,000 for local charities, and we’re aiming for $20k in 2020! Visit our website to learn more and register today!
Entering a team in the Pride Run and Walk is a great way to show your pride as members of the LGBTQ2+ community. The more visible we are, the brighter we shine!
Are you a supporter of Metro Vancouver’s queer community, but not a member? Entering a team in the Pride Run and Walk is a great way to show your support.
Individuals can set up teams of friends and families, and companies can set up teams of their own.
Whether or not you’re participating in the 2020 Pride Parade, Pride Run and Walk is so worth coming out for.
While it is a race, the PRandW is very welcoming to walkers and casual runners. For those who want to test their 5km or 10km speed on a fast, flat course options, it is a chip-timed race.
Prizes awarded to top finishers – including new pairs of running shoes to the first-place winners!
Dressing to impress is encouraged, but not required. We award prizes for best team and individual costume (hint: if it’s so far over the top it comes back around to the other side, you’re on the right track).
We offer fabulous photo ops at the (in)famous disco water station. Regardless of speed or costume, everyone has a chance to win a door prize.
Immediately following the Pride Run and Walk is the Vancouver Pride Society Picnic in the Park, with fun for the whole family.
