Whether you’re part of the community or an ally, we’ve listed 10 events that you should definitely hit up to get your pride on! Let your rainbow flags fly and prepare to celebrate!
VANCOUVER PRIDE PARADE
One of Vancouver’s most iconic and popular pride events is the Vancouver Pride Parade. Filled with floats and celebration, this annual parade stretches through Vancouver’s streets to decorate it with pride.

Although many details are still being finalized, the Vancouver Pride Parade is a must-attend for any good Pride Month. This year’s parade will be on August 3, 2025, hosted as always by Vancouver Pride Society. You can stay tuned on their website here as more details are released.
PUBLIC DISCO’S PRIDE BLOCK PARTY
Returning to Mount Pleasant is Public Disco’s annual Pride Block Party! This year is going to be bigger than ever as they partner with Vancouver Pride Society to turn a full city block into a celebration of queer dance music. Expect two stages, two lots, and a total alley takeover.
Tickets are currently on sale for $21 – $42, and for 19+ only. Public Disco’s Pride Block Party will be taking place on August 2, 2025 from 4:00pm to 11:30pm. Head to West 3rd and Ontario Street, Vancouver to get the party started.
SURREY PRIDE FESTIVAL
Hosted at Surrey’s Civic Plaza is the Surrey Pride Festival. For their 26th anniversary, expect loads of entertainment and plenty of pride to go around. There’ll be live drag performances and tons of activities to keep the celebrations flowing.
Head to Surrey Civic Plaza at 13450 104 Avenue in Surrey to take part in the Surrey Pride Festival. The event begins at 12:00pm and will run until 7:00pm on June 28, 2025.
DELTA PRIDE PICNIC
The Delta Pride Society will be hosting their 7th annual Delta Pride Picnic this year with loads of celebrations to go around. Bring your sunscreen and be ready to enjoy awesome music, live performances, and bunches of activities. There will also be food trucks, vendors, resource booths, and more!

The Delta Pride Picnic will be taking place on August 17, 2025 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Memorial Park in Ladner. Don’t forget to bring some cash to tip the spectacular performers!
RICHMOND PRIDE WEEK
If you’re looking for a full week of pride events, then Richmond’s got you covered. This annual Pride Week features a list of inclusive events that’ll have you interacting with the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. From local leaders to performers, you’ll be celebrating all throughout the week.
Richmond Pride Week 2025 takes place from July 28 to August 3. You can check here as the list is continually updated!
QUEER ARTS FESTIVAL
For those of you who love representation through art, then you’ll definitely want to check out this year’s Queer Arts Festival. This event is an annual artist-run art festival that is tied with an overarching theme to bring all sorts of disciplinaries together. This year’s theme is “Portals”, with a focus on exploring queer and trans experiences that cross thresholds.
The Queer Arts Festival hosts a number of festival listings, which you can check out here. It’ll be taking place from June 6 to June 28, 2025 at the Roundhouse in Vancouver.
PRIDE AT THE PIER
North Vancouver’s Pride at the Pier is an annual celebration that highlights everything pride. This family-friendly event will be filled with music and good vibes. Expect a dance party at Shipbuilder’s Square, local DJs, and drag performances.
You can attend Pride at the Pier on August 2, 2025 at the Shipbuilder’s Square in North Vancouver.
BURNABY PRIDE PICNIC
Save the date for Burnaby’s Pride Picnic! Celebrating the diversity of the 2SLGBTQIA+ Burnaby community on a sunny summer day, you can expect a chill afternoon filled with food, music, and fun! Guests can enjoy a selection of hot dogs (meat/veggie/Halal), as well as pop and chips being available with a suggested donation of $3-5.

NEW WEST PRIDE STREET FESTIVAL
Taking over Columbia Street is the New West Pride Street Festival! Filled with activities, vendors, food trucks, and tons of entertainment, this festival will be nothing but pride for the New West 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Fly your flags at this annual celebration of pride.
The New West Pride Street Festival will be on August 16, 2025 from 3:00pm to 10:00pm on Columbia Street in New Westminster.
COQUITLAM PRIDE FESTIVAL
Coquitlam’s third annual Pride Festival plans to be bigger than ever. This will be a day filled with family-friendly events and workshops, entertainment and food. The festival is also totally free to attend– all you need to do is bring yourself and good vibes.

The Coquitlam Pride Festival will be happening on July 19, 2025 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm in and around Evergreen Cultural Centre and Town Park Community Centre in Coquitlam.
