Nestled in Madeira Park, this hidden gem has only been around for about a year — but is already making a name for itself on the coast.
And it has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway just a few hours outside of Vancouver.
The Accommodations
The 2.5-acre property boasts a variety of accommodations, including funky motel rooms, cozy tiny cabins and luxurious glamping trailers.
Those interested in one of the motel rooms can book out one of the Sunshine Studios or Garden Suites. Both options come equipped with a kitchen, coffee maker, and smart TV.
For what the tiny cabins lack in size, they make up for in charm. As The Stonewater says, the quaint spaces were designed to “bring you closer to nature…comfortably.”
They have queen-size beds, along with your own picnic table, BBQ and fire pit area. And shared bathroom and shower facilities are located just a stone’s throw away.
The glamping trailers can sleep two to five guests, and have their own bathroom and kitchen.
They also have a private picnic table, fire pit and a small projector you can stream movies off of.
Each one of their four trailers has its own unique vibe, with a vibrant mural on the outside.
The Stonewater is pet-friendly too, for an added cost.
The Spa
Guests will definitely want to take advantage of the Moonshine Spa as well. The fully outdoor spa is on-site and can be booked out for a private session for your group of up to five people. Or, you can just enjoy it all to yourself.
It’s tucked away amongst the lush trees and draws upon the traditional features of a Nordic spa — complete with a cedar barrel hot tub and sauna, cozy fire pit, hot shower and a cold plunge bathtub.
Each private spa session is 75 minutes — giving you plenty of time to complete the circuit a couple of times and take in your surroundings.
While The Stonewater is close to many wonders on the Sunshine Coast, it offers a sanctuary so serene — you might just find yourself perfectly content staying still.
